This enterprise-wide requirements type Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Army contract vehicle was awarded to DDC-4C to standardize the Army’s approach to natural resource land management. Our Interactive Recreational Parks and Sports Management System (iSportsman) service supports the diverse requirements for managing natural resource programs involving recreational activities on federal land.  iSportsman is now used as the Army’s standard tool to facilitate Sikes Act compliance. iSportsman currently services 19 installations, both CONUS and OCONUS. The service provides for easy access to information and permits for both DoD personnel and civilian recreational enthusiasts seeking access to DoD locations. iSportsman, with an online presence that displays up-to-date program information, allows for program registration, provides online purchasing of required permits, and offers access to online maps of open and closed recreational areas. The system automatically collects pertinent user-generated data upon activity or area check-out and improves access control to areas and can be used to conduct lotteries for limited access areas and opportunities. The total annual contract value is $1.6M.
